John Garven

John Garven has been professionally engaged as a licensed insurance broker and employee benefit consultant for his entire adult career.

After graduating magna cum laude from Trinity International University in 1977, John continued his career-related education and earned the professional designations of Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) in 1980 and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 1981, both of which are conferred by the American College.

John is president and founder of Benico, Ltd., located in Huntley, Illinois, and an Investment Advisor Representative of Financial Services International Corp. (FSIC).  He assists individuals, the self-employed, practice professionals, and all types and sizes of businesses and organizations with their insurance, investment, employee benefits, and business process outsourcing needs.

Outside of his practice, John and his wife, Pam, are active in their church and community. They have two adult children, David and Krista, and three grandchildren.
